| This scholarship will be awarded annually to a child or grandchild of an AIST Detroit Chapter member in good standing for two or more consecutive years. The applicant must be an undergraduate student enrolled full-time and majoring in the field of engineering, metallurgy or materials science program at an accredited North American university. The applicant should have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, with a demonstrated interest in a career, or plans to pursue a career, in the iron and steel industry. | |
