| The Robert Edwards Lowry Scholarship honors an OU Geology alumnus from Tyler, Texas. These scholarships are primarily for undergraduates, particularly for freshmen, and may be continued through the Geology undergraduate career where progress is satisfactory. The scholarship may be continued into graduate studies if pursued at OU. Selection is based upon the following criteria: a minimum composite ACT score of 25 with a math score of at least 25, or a minimum SAT score of 1120 with a minimum math score of 575, and a minimum high school grade point average of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale. Applicants must be a Geology or Geophysics majors. Scholarship may be renewed depending upon student’s satisfactory academic progress and maintaining 3.00 GPA. | |
