Granted annually to a female graduating from Princeton High School who is pursuing a career in the allied health professions. This scholarship was established in 1977 in memory of Ms. Louise Maas, a member of the Princeton Business and Professional Women, Inc. (BPW). During her tenure at the club, Ms. Maas actively urged the use of scholarship funds to prepare women for the health professions, specifically nursing. The Louise Maas Allied Health Professions Scholarship is administered through the Princeton Area Community Foundation. Award: One $1,000 scholarship to prepare for an allied health profession will be awarded annually for one year of study at a four-year college or university, two-year college or vocational school
Additional Information
The applicant must be a female graduating Princeton High School senior of good character and warm personality with a desire to pursue a career in the allied health professions. Allied health professionals are healthcare practitioners with formal education and clinical training who are credentialed through certification, registration and/or licensure. This is a competitive scholarship, and the recipient will be selected based on character, financial need and achievement
