Four year scholarship awarded to incoming freshmen who qualify as a first generation American. Must reside in one of New York City’s five boroughs, have a parent who is currently or formerly employed in a uniform service (police, fire, sanitation, city worker, etc.), and demonstrate financial need. Recipients will be selected by the Office of Admissions in conjunction with Financial Aid. The scholarship will be renewable each year, as long as the student continues to meet the academic criteria.
