| Applicants must be a United States citizen and a graduate of Kennedy High School New (first time) applicants must be high school students or adults entering their freshman year at an accredited college or university in the U.S. Students who have received a Connecticut Community Foundation scholarship may reapply for up to four years of undergraduate support. The Foundation will consider additional years of scholarship support only for those students enrolled in programs that specifically require more than four years of study to complete the undergraduate degree, or in the case of education majors, achieve a teaching certificate. | Requirements: Will be pursuing a Bachelor of Arts Degree- New Applicants: First-time applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of B-. - Reapplicants: To be considered as a reapplicant for continued support, a student must have a cumulative GPA of C+ or higher (as determined by their educational institution’s grading scale) and must continue to meet the criteria for one or more of the scholarship funds. If a student does not have a C+ or higher GPA at the time of reapplication, the individual may reapply to the Foundation in the subsequent scholarship year providing the GPA has been raised to the required level. - Students are ranked on: Extra-Curricular/Work Experience, Recommendation Letter, Essay, Financial Need, and Academic Motivation (participation in challenging courses, improvement, etc).
