| The Scholarship will be awarded to a student with a declared major in either Math/Science/Engineering or the Arts. Applicants must be a US citizen, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, and be enrolled in a minimum of nine credit hours with a declared major in either Math/Science/Engineering or the Arts.
Applicants must submit a completed DCCCD Foundation Scholarship Application with a letter describing why they are deserving of the Bill and Mary Mitchell scholarship to the Financial Aid Director at his/her college. LETTER MUST BE TYPED. Recipients must successfully complete 6 credit hours per semester and maintain a 3.0 GPA or better. Failure to meet these requirements could result in reduction or loss of scholarship benefits. Recipients of this scholarship must write a letter of thanks to Bill and Mary Mitchell. |
