| This scholarship is presented to an outstanding freshman student entering the School of Liberal Arts. Financial need may be, but is not necessarily a factor. The award will be rotated among the following ten departments: art, English and theatre arts, foreign language, history, music, philosophy, political science, psychology, sociology, anthropology and social work, and speech and communication studies. If a department does not have an acceptable recipient in any given year, the award rotates to the next department. | |
