| This Scholarship awards $500 scholarships to graduating seniors in Tech Prep programs at each of the high schools within the College District. Tech Prep is a program of study which begins in high school, continues at a post-secondary institution and culminates in an associate of applied science degree or two - year certificate in one of the career interest areas: Environmental Science and Natural Resources, Arts and Communications, Business Management Technology and Administrative Services, Health Services, Human Services or Engineering and Industrial Technology.
Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale. Working within the guidelines provided (academic excellence, leadership ability, sound character and recommendations from career and technology educational instructors), high school administrators and faculty determine the selection process to be used to identify the recipients. |
