| The Hegg Memorial Hospital Scholarship is to encourage individuals to pursue careers in the nursing profession. The award will be split equally between semesters. Proceeds will be utilized for tuition and fees. Applicants must meet the following criteria: Be enrolled in the Practical Nursing, Extended Practical Nursing, Radiologic Technology, or Associate Degree Nursing program; Possess a high school diploma or equivalent; Maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average; Reside in College service area; Submit a narrative that addresses applicant’s community or extra-curricular involvement, reasons for pursuing a nursing career, and previous work experience in a health related field. | |
