| Chuck Savedge was an important figure in scholastic journalism and deeply involved with SIPA (Southern Interscholastic Press Association). This scholarship is awarded to an outstanding high school senior based on this criteria: The student must be a staff member on a yearbook; must attend the USC School of Journalism and Mass Communications; must attend the yearly SIPA Convention; and the recipient’s yearbook must hold membership in SIPA. | |
