| NSF’s graduate fellowships offer recognition and 3 years of support for advanced study to approximately 900 outstanding graduate students annually in all fields of science, mathematics, and engineering. To be eligible for this nationwide merit competition, an individual must be a citizen, national, or permanent resident of the United States, and at or near the beginning of graduate study. Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) in Oak Ridge, TN, manages the annual application and review process of the NSF GRFP. | |
