| Established to provide financial assistance for college to students who served, or are the family members of individuals who served, with VII Corps in Operations Desert Shield, Desert Storm, or related activities. | |

| Applicants must have served, or be a family member of those who served, with VII Corps in Operations Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Provide Comfort, or one of the support base activities. Scholarships are limited to students entering or enrolled in accredited technical institutions (trade or specialty), two-year colleges, and four-year colleges or universities. Awards will not be made to individuals receiving military academy appointments or full four-year scholarships. Letters of recommendation and a transcript are required. Selection is not based on financial need or solely on academic standing; consideration is also given to extracurricular activities and other self-development skills and abilities obtained through on-the-job training or correspondence courses. Priority is given to survivors of VII Corps soldiers who died during Operations Desert Shield/Desert Storm or Provide Comfort, veterans who are also members of the VII Corps Desert Storm Veterans Association, and family members of veterans who are also members of the VII Corps Desert Storm Veterans Association. | |
