| North Dakota covers a large geographical area. Quality medical services are essential to quality of life. Sanford Health has established this scholarship fund to provide support to individuals interested in health care careers, with preference to individuals from their service region. Two $1,000 scholarships are available to high school seniors and eight $1,000 scholarships are available to students who are returning second-, third- or fourth-year students, pursuing an undergraduate or vocational/technical degree in a healthcare-related field. | |

| 1.Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA or higher. 2.Scholarship recipients must be North Dakota students who graduated from a high school with a local DFS chapter. 3.Students must be pursuing a medical career. 4.A copy of your most recent unofficial high school or college transcript must be included with this application. All applications and a copy of the student's transcript are due to the State Office postmarked no later than June 10 and winners will be notified in early July. Checks will be sent to the colleges in July for use in the fall semester | |
