| The West Virginia Engineering, Science and Technology Scholarship Program is a state funded student aid program designed to enable and encourage academically talented individuals to pursue careers in the fields of engineering, science and technology. Scholarships, not to exceed $3,000 per academic year, are awarded on the basis of academic qualifications and interest in the fields of engineering, science and technology. | |

| Students must: 1) be residents of West Virginia; 2) be enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a full-time student in a technology program leading to a certificate, associate or baccalaureate degree at an eligible institution of higher education in West Virginia; 3) have a minimum 3.0 GPA; and 4) agree that within one year after ceasing to be a full-time student to begin working full-time in an engineering, science or technology field in West Virginia for a duration of one year for each year the scholarship was received. | |
