| Awards under this program are designed to provide financial assistance to outstanding other-race students who enter graduate school to prepare to teach at the college level. Other-race students are defined as minority students (American Indian, Alaskan Native, Hispanic, Asian or Pacific Islander, or African American) attending a traditionally white institution in Virginia or white students attending a traditionally black institution in Virginia. | |
