Established in the year 2000, the CBC Spouses Heineken USA Performing Arts Scholarship program was developed in honor of the late Curtis Mayfield to ensure that students pursuing a career in the performing arts receive the financial assistance to achieve their goals. | |

| The performing arts include theater, motion pictures, drama, comedy, music, dance, opera, marching bands and other musical ensembles. CBC will award up to $3,000 each for up to 10 students. To be eligible for a CBC Spouses Heineken USA Performing Arts scholarship, applicants must: ■Be preparing to pursue an undergraduate degree full-time or be a current full-time student in good academic standing at an accredited college or university ■Be planning to pursue a degree in a field that will lead to a career in the performing arts ■Have a minimum 2.5 GPA ■Exhibit leadership ability and participate in community service activities Please go the website for application and additional information. | |
