| Established by The Corella and Bertram F. Bonner Foundation of Princeton, NJ, this program supports students at 25 institutions around the country. In an attempt to integrate community service into the college experience, the Bonner Scholars Program provides a service alternative to replace the job component of a financial aid package. Bonner Scholars are selected based on financial need and interest in community service and receive a stipend through direct grants, stipends, and expense money. While in the Program, Bonner Scholars are expected to be active in service during the academic year and summers, participate in educational enrichment activities. | |
