| The National Arts Program competition is held every February and the winners are announced at Dallas City Hall in late February. Winners are given a letter informing them that they have won a $100 scholarship to one of the seven DCCCD campuses. The student receives the scholarship only if he or she enrolls in one of the colleges. The scholarship winner must be 18 years or older; or 17 (if finished high school or have completed GED). The student is allowed to take one course or several, but the award is set at $100 no matter how many classes the student takes. The student must also complete a DCCCD Foundation Scholarship Application form, show proof of winning the competition and complete at least one course. Reimbursement is completed after student submits documentation to the Foundation and completes the course. | |
