| This scholarship assists a student currently enrolled or entering Tarrant County College pursuing an associate or Certificate of Completion in accounting or business. Must be enrolled in at least nine hours for period of award. Must have minimum 2.75 TCC GPA or high school equivalent if a first-time TCC student or minimum GED score of 55. During the course of each semester, the student must volunteer eight hours with a Tarrant County nonprofit organization and receive signed verification
of volunteer service. Submit the following: a narrative addressing personal situation, finances, future career goals, personal achievements and community or volunteer involvement; a TCC Foundation Scholarship application available from your campus financial aid office; two letters of recommendation (one must be from a faculty member or teacher who has taught the student or recent employer); and an academic transcript or GED scores if applicable. |
