| The recipient must be enrolled in engineering major, be a full-time student at WVU Tech, maintain a 2.5 GPA, be a WV resident of Boone or adjacent counties as defined as Logan, Lincoln, Mingo, Raleigh, Kanawha, and Wyoming County; and, all other criteria being equal, extra weight shall be given to an applicant from a coal mining family. | |
