Established to provide financial assistance for college to employees of members of the Tire Association of North America (TANA) and their dependents.
Additional Information
This program is open to part-time employees and dependent children of full-time employees of tire dealers who are TANA members. Employees and dependent children of Michelin North America, Inc. are not eligible. Applicants must be high school seniors who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Along with their application, they must submit an essay in which they describe themselves, including the kind of person they are, their strengths, and their most important achievements in school and in their community; they may also include their hobbies, interests, sports, volunteer work, employment, future plans, or career goals. Selection is based on academic achievement, academic performance, scholastic aptitude, leadership contributions, and the essay. Financial need is not considered.
