| This program is open to 1) students with hemophilia or a related bleeding disorder or 2) members of their families. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and enrolled or planning to enroll full time in an accredited 2- or 4-year college program. They can apply directly, or they can be nominated by their families, peers, hemophilia treatment center staff, teachers, or local chapters. Applicants must write an essay describing how they plan to use their education to serve humankind and to encourage self improvement and enrichment. In addition to the essay, selection is based on scholastic achievement, community service, and financial need. | |
