| This program is open to Connecticut residents who have sickle cell disease. Applicants must be graduating high school seniors, have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, be in the top third of their class, and be interested in attending a 2- or 4-year college or university. As part of the application, they must submit a statement outlining personal and career goals and how the scholarship will help them achieve those goals. Selection is based on that essay, three letters of recommendation, and an interview. | |
