| This scholarship is awarded each year from each of the ten area high schools in Okaloosa County and Walton County to the top academic African-American student who plans to attend OWC on a full-time basis (minimum 12 credit hours/term). In the event the top-ranked African- American student does not plan to attend OWC, then the scholarship is awarded to the next highest ranked student in the class. The scholarship covers in-state tuition and fees for 60 credit hours of study at OWC. Book costs are not included. Recipients must have recommendations from their high school principal and guidance counselor. | |
