| Applicant must be graduating in May with an associate degree in a Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Technology curriculum, be of African descent (African or African American), be transferring to a four-year institution and pursuing a baccalaureate degree in a Science,Mathematics, Engineering or
Technology curriculum, and submit a one-page personal statement revealing his/her qualities and strengths. In the personal statement, the applicant must address: goals for the future; barriers or hardships encountered along the way; why financial assistance is needed; and what he/she hopes to contribute to the field. Applicant must submit a copy of his/her most recent grade report, and submit one letter of recommendation from a Community College of Philadelphia faculty member. |
