The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) and Cummins have partnered to provide financial resources to assist outstanding Latino students. The award amount is $2,500. Cummins also has summer internships available Cummins Inc., a global power leader, is a corporation of complementary business units that design, manufacture, distribute and service engines and related technologies, including fuel systems, controls, air handling, filtration, emission solutions and electrical power generation systems. Headquartered in Columbus, Indiana, (USA) Cummins serves customers in approximately 190 countries and territories through a network of more than 500 company-owned and independent distributor locations and approximately 5,200 dealer locations. •Be of Hispanic heritage •Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired) •Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale •Must enroll FULL-TIME at a U.S. accredited college or university •Be majoring in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering •Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) •Students must be entering their Sophomore or Junior year at their four-year college or university for the 2011-2012 academic school year. •Open to all states with preference given to students with a permanent address in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Indiana, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, and New York •Students must submit a resume and be interested in summer internship opportunities with Cummins
