| This program is open to students of Portuguese descent who are sophomore, juniors, or seniors at 4-year colleges or universities in California with a minimum grade point average of 3.5. Applicants must be California residents who are interested or involved in the Luso-American community and have taken or will enroll in Portuguese language classes. Selection is based on promise of success in college, financial need, qualities of leadership, vocational promise, and sincerity of purpose. | |
