| Eligible to apply for these scholarships are graduating high school seniors who have been members of the U.P.E.C. for the past two years, have maintained at least a 3.0 grade point average in their sophomore through senior years (official transcripts required), and have participated in at least three extracurricular activities in high school. Students must apply for either the Full Scholarship (applying to a 4-year school only) or the Junior Scholarship (applying to a 2-year school only). Also required in the application process are three letters of recommendation, a recent photograph, and an essay (up to 1,500 words) on their main academic interest and whey they chose it. Applicants must intend to attend school on a full-time basis. Financial need is considered in the selection process. | |
