| Challengers is an organization of young men (sophomores, juniors, or seniors in high school) within the Southern Baptist convention. Challengers can represent their state in this national speech competition. They must prepare a speech, from 5 to 7 minutes in length, on one of the following topics: my Challengers journey; me, a missionary; discovering my gifts for mission service; the cooperative program: supporting missions around the word; encountering God through Bible study; or what Challengers means to me. Selection is based on content, composition, and delivery. | |
