| This program is open to Jewish refugees and asylees who arrived in the United States from the former Soviet Union, Iran, Bosnia, or other countires. Applicants must have been assisted by the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS). They may be either high school seniors planning to pursue postsecondary education or students already enrolled in college or graduate school. Previous recipients are not eligible to apply. Selection is based on merit, financial need, and service within the Jewish community. | |
