| Contestants in grades 10 through 12 must write an essay of 250 to 1,500 words on a topic that changes annually but is related to being Jewish. A recent topic was ”How Will Modern Technology Enhance or Hinder Jewish Survival and the Perpetuation of Its Traditions?” For students in junior high school, the essay must be 250 to 1,000 words; a recent topic was ”How a Jewish Upbringing Influences Attitudes Towards One’s Family and Society.” | |
