| Eligible are residents who have been in foster care or other residential care under the conservatorship of the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services on or after the day preceding their 18th birthday, the day of their 14th birthday (if they were also eligible for adoption on or after that day), or the day they graduated from high school or received the equivalent of a high school degree. Applicants must enroll as an undergraduate not later than the third anniversary of the date they were discharged from the foster or other residential care (but not later than their 21st birthday). | |
