| The purpose of the Athletic Grant is to encourage athletes to pursue post-secondary education at Dodge City Community College. Grants are limited. It is important to contact the appropriate coach as soon as possible. Residents of states other than Kansas will have their athletic grants funded by the Dodge City Community College Alumni-Booster Association. An athlete may receive up to Tuition and the Loan of Books as an athletic grant. Grants will be recommended by the appropriate coach and approved by the Athletic Director and the President. Renewal will be based on the athlete’s ability to maintain the requirements of the Jayhawk Community College Conference, the National Junior College Athletic Association, acceptable level of participation in the appropriate sport, satisfactory academic progress, and availability of funds. The appropriate coach and Athletic Director will determine renewal eligibility at the end of each semester. | |
