| The Athletic Department awards scholarships in varying amounts to outstanding athletes who demonstrate a potential to significantly contribute to the athletic program of the college. To qualify for any athletic scholarship, students must meet regular admissions standards and have a minimum 3.0 high school cumulative GPA. Transfer students with less than 30 credits earned must also meet these criteria. Transfer students with more than 30 credits earned elsewhere must have a minimum 2.9 college cumulative GPA. Athletic scholarships are recommended by coaches and the Athletic Director of Asbury College. To renew the scholarship, a recipient must maintain a minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA, pass a minimum of 24 credits per year and continue to have the recommendations of a coach and the Athletic Director. | |
