| This program is open to residents of the Washington metropolitan area who have completed at least one semester of an accredited postsecondary culinary arts or culinary training program. Applicants must demonstrate a desire to continue studies in the field of food service and/or hospitality with an emphasis in cookery, baking, or food and beverage. They must have a cumulative grade point average, completion of a Nation’s Capital Chef’s Association (NCCA) apprenticeship, a statement describing why the applicant needs and should revieve this scholarship, letters of recommendation, work in the food and service industry, and overall professionalism of the application. | |
