| This program is open to students who have been residents of Maine for at least four years and are interested in pursuing higher education anywhere in the United States. Applicants may be entering college, already enrolled in college, pursuing a graduate degree, or studying at the postgraduate level. They must submit an essay, up to 750 words, describing a challenge or adventure in their life. Selection is based on financial need; academic, community, organizational, and co-curricular accomplishments; character; demonstrated values; potential and aspirations; and references. | |
