Additional Information
Pursuing a four-year degree in animal, dairy or poultry science, aquaculture, general agriculture, agricultural communications, education or extension, international agriculture, food service management, biological sciences, biotechnology, food packaging, food science and technology, pre-vet/vet sciences or dietetics. Students must plan to attend University of Nebraska - Lincoln, Purdue University, Cornell University, Iowa State University, University of Iowa, Texas Tech, North Dakota State, University of Georgia, University of Maryland, University of Minnesota, Virginia Tech, and Texas A&M, Auburn University, University of Missouri-Columbia, Kansas State University. Applicants must be active FFA members with a Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Must show a demonstrated interest or focus in food safety. This scholarship may be renewed for three subsequent years depending on cumulative grade point average and attendance as a full-time student. Students must maintain at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. AWARD: Four scholarships at $8,000 ($2,000 per year for four years) each, renewable.
