| One (1) $1000 award is available to a new freshman, majoring in elementary or special education with a minimum 3.0 GPA, minimum ACT of 22, full time enrollment and a South Dakota resident. Special consideration will be given for persons with disabilities and/or financial need. The top ten (10) finalists will be required to submit two (2) letters of recommendation from high school staff stressing character and leadership potential, and an essay. | |
