Established to provide financial assistance to Vermont residents who are interested in attending a culinary arts program.
Additional Information
This scholarship is available to residents of Vermont who are high school seniors, high school graduates, or the equivalent and who plan to attend a culinary arts program (e.g., an accredited apprenticeship program, chief training program, or pastry arts program). Applicants must have at least a 3.0 grade point average, be able to document financial need, have applied to the Vermont student Assistance Corporation for a Vermont Grant, and have filed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid no later than four weeks before the scholarship deadline. The following are required as part of the application process: a completed application form, a copy of an acceptance letter from the culinary arts program, a letter of recommendation, a resume, an official transcript, and five required essays.
